本片是风格迥异的三段论，分别由陈玉勋、沈可尚、侯季然三位导演联合打造。第一段激进大学生罗伟（王柏杰 饰）在社团中宣传革命理念，为了印社刊，他求助于印刷工、跛脚少女朱丽叶（徐若瑄 饰）。后者出于对他的暗恋，熬夜赶制，按时交工，希望讨好对方。但是，单恋并未修成正果，反而……第二段讲述困扰爱情的女孩朱丽叶（李千娜 饰）在精神病院遇到了中年男人，后者背负30年的情债前来偿还。一段歌舞剧团的掌上千金与布袋世家少爷的苦恋被揭开。可惜物是人非，斯人已去。在讲述中，朱丽叶领悟到了坚持的真谛……第三段，朱立业（康康 饰）40岁前曾有28次不成功的单恋，他爱男人，但均告失败。当他希望自杀了断人生，却意外被卷入了剧组，当起了临时演员，而且还开始了29次单恋……。Two estranged brothers reunite at their missing father's video store to liquidate the property and sell off his assets.
