石冈葵（大岛美优饰饰）在大雨的日子里消失在向日葵花田旁的路上，只留下一把伞。这个情景本身就充满了神秘和戏剧性。埼玉县搜查一课刑警奈良健市（室毅饰）接到失踪报告后，立即赶到了事件现场。孩子的父亲征泽（佐藤隆太饰）正在附近参加搜救活动。正当他们焦虑地寻找时，家庭背后的复杂关系也开始浮现。 征泽正正在和妻子商量离婚，他们已经分居，但在接到失踪通知后，他立刻赶到了现场。此时，对于葵的失踪原因，包括拐卖、事故或是离家出走，一切都不明朗。在搜索行动陷入停滞的同时，奈良健市也开始直面自己妹妹真由子的心理问题。真由子曾经遭受过性侵犯，这一经历让她一直抱有心理阴影。奈良成为警察正是因为家人的遭遇，他对于找到葵的决心也显得更加坚定。。Young people use music to express their new awareness of life and generational opposition to their parents, as well as to protest the social and political climate in East Germany.
